so many announcements!

So we have had a BUSY week! I guess we will go in chronological order. Last Friday we moved in with the Smith family while their parents are off enjoying Hawaii. There are five kids and with Logan, we have been watching six kids all week! I have a whole new respect for all those strong women out there who are trying to raise teenagers and 3 year-olds at the same time! I am totally exhausted! Logan is having a blast though! he loves playing with all the new toys and making new friends. Here is a picture of him with Michael and Ty watching Thomas the train.

Then on Monday, we found out that Eric passed the CPA exam! Now all he has to do is some paperwork and an ethics exam and he is official! We are so excited and glad that it is all over with.

And last but not least, we had our ultrasound yesterday and found out that we are having another boy! Logan is going to love having a little brother! He was super cute! He was pretty shy though. He kept covering up his face with his arm but after a while he finally let us see his cute face. It is finally starting to feel real. :)

Well, we are off to North Carolina and Washington DC on Saturday for our Waite family reunion! I will post lots of pictures once we get back!

MMMM...Food

I love food. Unhealthy as it may be, there are certain foods that just provide comfort and satisfaction that nothing else can. So I am taking a moment to share some of my loves.

Let's start with a healthy one. I love these Soy milkshakes for breakfast. I recently ran out of it and the only place you can get them in the big containers is at Sam's Club (there isn't one around here) or Amazon. So I just got my stuff today from Amazon. Happy day! All is right in the world. I am not a breakfast person but I look forward to my soy milkshakes every morning. Sad, I know.

Now a close second and terribly unhealthy. I LOVE a good burger with french fries. And I have really been craving them since I have been pregnant. We won't go into detail, but i love them.

For all the other meals, I want to endorse this cookbook. It is awesome! My mother-in-law got it for me for mother's day and I haven't actually used it yet, but I spent 20 minutes looking through it and sticking little post-it notes on all the recipes I am going to use. They are easy, fast and it is all stuff you usually have in your fridge anyway. My new love.

Well, that about covers my current cravings. Maybe I'll post about some new ones tomorrow. I have really been liking pickles lately too...

Cousins and Soccer Balls

I finally got some pictures of Logan with his cousin Natalie. He didn't really know what to do with her, but I think the fact that they both have binkys has bonded them for life. Then, today Logan decided to express his undying love for the world's favorite sport. Or maybe he was just bored of being in the car. You decide.

Family Fun

Can I just say, warm weather rocks! Yesterday we went to Tri-Cities for our niece's, Natalie Rose Farmer, baby blessing and it was the most gorgeous day yet of the year. The blessing went great and then we went to the house for lunch and we just sat in the yard under a beautiful flowering tree (I already forgot what kind it was). It was a perfect day! Logan loved running around and playing with the other kids. I didn't get a picture of Logan with his new cousin but is one with her uncle Curtis that I liked and one in her blessing dress. Isn't she adorable!? I forgot how fun it is to hold a new little squishy baby! Thanks Tyler and Rose-Ellen for a great day!

March for Babies

The company where Eric works, Moss Adams, is really involved in community stuff so we decided to participate in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies this morning. It was really fun. All the people from Moss Adams had matching t-shirts and hung out together. It was a 5 1/2 mile walk on a gorgeous spring day. It couldn't have been more perfect. My feet are a little sore and my butt will hurt tomorrow, but overall it was a great experience. Logan loved pointing the the river that runs along the path and saying "water" and playing with his "bayoon."

Finally some pictures!

Ok, I have finally figured out how to upload pictures on our new computer. So here is a collection of pictures from Easter and of Logan sitting in front of the TV watching "Cars." He will only watch the first big racing scene, and then he is off running around, but for that scene, there is no distracting him. It is pretty funny.
